Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your GFX card, some people have reported the issue fixed with a driver update. Make sure any driver related postprocesses (FXAA for example) are disabled for TacO. Those might fill the alpha channel with a fully opaque value and thus make TacO non-transparent.

Add the following into the target field after the install location: -image -assetsrv 54.84.216.160 -patchconnections 20. Target should now look similar to this : "E:\GW2\Guild Wars 2\Gw2-64.exe" -image -assetsrv 54.84.216.160 -patchconnections 20. This should fix the slow download issue most people are struggling with.

It's not stuck per se, it does download something and the file amount goes down every time i close and reopen the client, albeit just a little. While it states that the game is playable some areas just wont download, foreground or background and thus I cannot play properly.
Hi again! I wanted to let you know I was able to create an account. I tried a completely new emailaddress and I picked a password with upper and lowercase letters, numbers and a symbol. I honestly can't tell you which one of those helped. I got errors inbetween, but suddenly it worked :) I think it's the password.
